General Legal Information

Delivery:

1. Orders placed before 2PM from a single or multiple grocery stores within each town,city,or county will be delivered same-day between 5 PM – 11 PM daily (excluding Sundays due to closure of local grocery stores). However, Oranso Market and its promoters (Origin and Sources Limited) will not be liable contractually should there be any proven delay due to adverse weather conditions,traffic,fire,flood,accident and/or any unforeseen circumstances restricting delivery within the specified timing.
 
2. Customer’s may be contacted prior to delivery to ensure delivery is made to the address specified by you when you place your order from www.oransomarket.com. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is correct.
If no one is available to receive the order during your booked delivery slot, Oranso Market may, at its discretion:
  • Retain the items, potentially charging you for any unsellable products and/or an admin fee;

  • Attempt redelivery later, possibly excluding frozen items (which may still be charged);

  • Leave the order unattended at your address or another agreed location.

3. Risk of loss or damage transfers to you once the products are delivered, handed to someone, or left at a nominated spot. Oranso Market is not liable for any damage or loss after delivery if:

(a) no suitable person is present at your address for delivery, but you ask us to leave the order unattended; or
(b) someone is present but you still request the delivery be left unattended,

4. Oranso Market driver may leave the goods in a location they choose. If age verification cannot be completed for age-restricted items, those products will be removed from your order and may not be charged. If no suitable recipient is present, we may also remove perishable items (including frozen goods) and any others we consider necessary. In such cases, we may charge for these items and/or apply an administrative fee.

5. We disclaim all responsibility for any issues resulting from an unattended delivery at your request, including theft, tampering, contamination, or temperature-related spoilage of chilled or frozen items.

6. Delays, rescheduling, or cancellations may occur due to adverse weather, technical or operational issues, or other events beyond our control. Oranso Market is not responsible for any resulting damages. In such cases, we will aim to contact you promptly to rearrange delivery.

7. During the Christmas Period (18th–30th December ), the number of available delivery slots may be limited. The Minimum Order Requirement may also increase, and if you cancel your order or delivery within 2 days of the scheduled date, Oranso Market may charge a fee equal to your delivery cost.

Post-delivery, returns and cancellation rights

1. We recommend that you check all products, including allergen details, at the time of delivery and let us know immediately or shortly afterward if any items are mis-described, incorrect, or defective.

2. If you notice any unwanted items while inspecting your order during delivery, you may refuse them for any reason. After delivery, certain items cannot be returned due to health and safety reasons, unless they are faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose.

3. Refund requests can be submitted via the Website. Please email customerservice@oransomarket.com or call us on 0730 744 9158. We will arrange with you for the products to be returned to us and on receipt and inspection of the products, we will refund the price of any products which are defective or arrange for the delivery of replacement products.

4. While Oranso Market strives to keep Website information accurate and current, food products are often reformulated, ingredients may change, and manufacturer data may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not rely solely on Website descriptions—always check product labels upon delivery. Nutritional information is provided for general public use and is sourced from various providers, including local grocery sellers. Although believed accurate at the time of publication, Oranso Market, to the extent allowed by law and unless stated in the Oranso Market Terms, accepts no responsibility and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information.
 
5. If your delivery is incomplete or contains incorrect items, please contact us promptly via our Customer Service at 0730 744 9158 or email customerservice@oransomarket.com. You will not be charged for any incorrect or missing products. In cases of loss or damage, Oranso Market (Origin and Sources Limited) limits its liability to the value of the undelivered or incorrect items and the delivery cost.

6. Please return items in their original packaging with all tags intact. For products with hygiene or security seals, take reasonable care not to remove them unless you intend to keep the item. If seals or tags are removed or tampered with, the item cannot be returned and no refund will be issued.

7. Unless the products are defective, you may be responsible for return postage costs. You also bear the risk of loss or damage during return transit, so we recommend using a reliable courier and obtaining proof of posting.

8. We reserve the right to cancel your delivery at any time if we suspect fraud, believe you have breached the Oranso Market Terms or related conditions, or if any payment is outstanding on an account linked to your address. If your order is cancelled, we will notify you and invite you to contact our Customer Hub at 0730 744 9158

Limitation of liability

1. Oranso Market is not liable for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, breach of contract, or statutory duty. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. For details, contact your local Trading Standards office or Citizens Advice Bureau.

2. We are not liable—whether in contract, tort (including negligence), misrepresentation (excluding fraud), statute, or otherwise—for any:

  • indirect, special, or consequential loss;

  • loss of profit, revenue, data, privacy, business, anticipated savings, goodwill, or reputation;

  • or losses arising from reliance on our delivery or failure to deliver.

3. We are also not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest, terrorism, war, equipment failure, traffic issues, energy disruptions, pandemics, or government restrictions.

4. Except where stated otherwise, our total liability for any order will not exceed the retail value of the products in that order plus delivery costs.

Privacy

1. Telephone calls made to and from our Customer Service team are recorded for complaint handling, quality and monitoring purposes.
 
2. We respect your privacy. The personal information that you give us is held with care and security. We do not sell, rent or transfer this information to third parties for their marketing purposes unless we have a lawful basis to do so.
 

Business Conditions

1. Alongside our termination rights, we may suspend or terminate your Oranso Market account at our sole discretion, with notice.


2. As a service company responsible for picking up products from grocery sellers, Oranso Market is not liable in case of expired and damaged products from the pick up point.- Grocery sellers are responsible for the products they sell and are obligated to exchange or initiate refund should there be evidence showing product expiration or damage.

3. You must comply with the Bribery Act 2010 and all relevant laws related to bribery, modern slavery, and anti-corruption. You must also have procedures in place to prevent bribery and ensure your staff comply with these obligations. You agree to indemnify Oranso Market against any loss, damage, costs (including legal fees), or liability arising from your breach of our Terms and Conditions.
